So I found this super easy no carbs banana pancake recipe so I felt compelled to share it. If you're like me, very into diet trends, and you're all "Carbs are bad" then you will LOVE this recipe. But if you're like my weirdo friends (you know who you are!) and you don't like eggs, then move along.

Mush up one banana into what resembles baby's vomit
Crack 2 eggs and whisk them
Mix in the banana mush
Heat buttered pan and pour in the egg-banana mix
Cook over low-medium heat on each side for a few minutes, I kind of estimate and check for golden brownness
Eat that delicious banana pancake delight. Serve with whatever you think pairs well.
I had some with Nutella too and that was delicious because I love Nutella as much as I love my family. Nutella is my family. The banana pancakes are really delicious and sweet so it doesn't even need any syrup or icing sugar but feel free to add on whatever makes you happy!

Helpful tip: these pancakes don't bubble like normal pancakes so you might not know when to flip 'em. Good to cook it low and slow so it doesn't burn but solidifies nicely.

Also, don't make them too large because then they're hell to flip. Unless you're Jamie Oliver and you can flip things sans cutlery. The first time I made it too large and I tried to flip it and it was a disgusting mess and looks like scrambled egg (but still tasted good).

*Post initial photo taking edit: I made the pancakes again but this time using a blender - I blended the bananas and the eggs, which made the texture way smoother and more watery, which, when poured into the pan, made much neater, flatter and rounder pancakes which cooked a little more evenly! And I decided to use a Happy Call double sided pan for the flipping, which made it waaaay easier and less messy. Suck on that Jamie Oliver!
So round. Much smooth. Many yum.
Happy cooking, thanks for reading!

I’m prone to being quite extreme when it comes to things that I love – and my treatment of my dog, Nacho, is no exception.
I love yeeeeeeeewwwwwwww
Nacho means the world to me, I never knew I could love something this much. I’m definitely a crazy dog lady through and through.

For fellow dog owners, I’d like to share some of the things I’ve bought for Nacho which maybe you can consider for your furry friend as well! Although, I’m actually well aware that most dog owners are pretty crazy about their dogs and probably have just as many awesome things for their dogs as I do.

Nacho can be pretty intense and anxious sometimes, especially when he’s at the vet or at the groomers. I read that Rescue Remedy was a good homeopathic option to help my dog chill the eff out (they also make it for humans!) so I immediately bought some. It’s advised to let your dog ingest a few drops of it by putting it in their drinking water, or in a snack. I don’t know if it really works because he’s still pretty crap when he goes to the vet. And Nacho’s groomer, sweet Ashley from De’ Pets Salon, describes him as ‘a bit naughty’ after each grooming session but I’m pretty sure in her head she’s screaming “LITTLE FURRY SPAWN OF SATAN”.

I’m not sure what it is, but Nacho’s breath is horrible. After incurring a $300+ dental bill for him early this year, I’ve decided to take more effort and care in cleaning his teeth. So I bought this Oratene toothpaste from the vet. It’s a $45 tube of clear gel paste that I rub onto his gums and teeth daily using a little finger cloth. The vet told me that it uses enzymes to clean the plaque off his teeth, and so far, his teeth are still looking pretty clean. My friend Mims says her dog Russell gnaws on bones and that helps but Nacho’s never been much of a chewer and he ignores his chew toys.*Sigh* Expensive toothpaste it is then.

I’m a total sucker for packaging and my snobby hippie wannabe nature means that when I see the word ‘organic’, I’m pretty much 60% convinced. Nacho sometimes gets ticks when he goes running through the grass so I get him Richard's Organics flea and tick shampoo and this one purports to be all natural and safe and gentle. Plus, look how chio that packaging is. It looks fancier than the shampoo I use for myself. Apparently it repels mosquitoes too so maybe I should use it as a body wash.

Ok so this one is more for me than for Nacho but it’s Nacho adjacent. My sis bought this dog food container for me as a Christmas gift. It’s from Hip Van and I love it because I love dogs and it’s got cute little puppies on it! OMG SO CUTE. The only way it could be made better is if it had Nacho pictures printed on it. This year's Christmas gift perhaps??

It's like he's all "I'm faaaabulous! What a cool drink of water I am!"

This cute gingham set makes me nostalgic as it reminds me of my kindergarten uniform. I was trying to look for a photo of me in my uniform but the photo cupboard is just insane and in no order so I gave up because I'm lazy. I just took one offline although I recall that in my time it had a little bow on each side and also was sleeveless.
None of these children are me. They look too happy to be me.
I was sooo popular in kindergarten - I had one friend who only wanted to be my friend on days when the other kids weren't being friends with her. She would loudly announce that she's 'NOT MY FRIEND' on those days when she had better options. Trouble was, our helpers were friends and they'd bring us to Macdonalds after school sometimes and on those off days, she would literally ignore me. What a giant flaming turd. But being angry at a memory and at the folly of a child is really stupid so let's move on.

I think however, that I did have a boyfriend then... I don't recall his name but I think he was Eurasian and wore spectacles. We'd go to the caged windows at break time... (Hey Newton Kindergarten, why the hell were the windows caged???? Were we being held captive??) and we would hold hands and count the buses going past. I think sometimes there could be up to 4 buses. DING DING DING WORLD RECORD MUCH???

Other than that, the memories are pretty sparse... I was a penguin in a school musical, and I fainted once during assembly (and got to go home so that was awesome), and I think I would sometimes see a boy in the class next to mine that was separated by a bookshelf and we would smile at each other. So basically, in summary, I had no friends, possibly because I was really boy-crazy, and I found really simple things joyful and memorable.

How wonderful those simple times were. I miss it so much. What were your fondest memories?

Busy

So after working for over three years in my current position, the time has come for me to broaden my horizons. I’ll be moving to another department within the company to take on a different marketing portfolio to learn a different side of the business and get more on-the-ground experience.  Doesn't that just sound so grown-up???

The only reason why I’m bringing this up is because it’s likely going to impact my blog a little. Judging by the various emails I’ve seen flying around, as well as my new boss’ description that the team is only ‘busy’ or ‘busier’, I think I will a) be really busy and not have much time to blog b) be really busy and not have time to dress up c) be really busy so I turn into an old hag and feel embarrassed to capture that on camera.

Nonetheless, I’m excited about my new role, I feel like I’m the kind of person who needs to be really busy and constantly juggling things, so I’m kind of pleased about all this. I will absolutely try my best to keep up with the blogging but it might take a little hit. Which is probably going to be good for the regular readers since I can be super annoying so maybe less is more eh?

I hate visiting the dentist. Sorry Dr. Chin. No offense but I just really really really don't like being prodded in the mouth while a suction thingy makes my feel like gagging. I don't think anyone really enjoys a dental scaling all that much (unless they're crazy weird) but a good dentist and nice dental practice makes a huge difference.

I go to T32 Dental Centre every 6 months like the well behaved child that I am. It's located at Camden Medical Centre which is so convenient - you could go in for a dental scaling and come out with a new face by Woffles Wu if you so please.

There are several reasons why I like T32:
A few days before my scheduled appointment, the receptionist will call to remind me. This is helpful because I always forget things.
'Come here. We do things to your mouth'
They are super organised - when you come in for your appointment, the receptionists will greet you cheerfully and inform you to wait in the waiting lounge. When it's all over, you go to yet another desk to make payment. My OCD spider sense is tingling.
Greetings! Reception counter on the right
Lounge here in the waiting lounge
The waiting lounge is fancy pants. They have a wine fridge and free drinks and they have art hanging on the walls and fancy chairs to sit in and music plays softly. It's almost like a hotel lobby.
Free drinks!
WINE LEH. Excuse me front desk, can I order takeaway?
Fancy art + fancy high chairs = HIGH CLASS
They're very very punctual. I don't think I've ever had to wait longer than 5 minutes in the lounge before being escorted by the nurse into one of the rooms for the dental procedure.
Come here and get comfy
I AM GOING TO DRILL IN YOUR HEAD MUAHAHAHAHA
As it's on the penthouse level of Camden, it's got a killer view which is nice when you really can't do much else when your mouth is being drilled into and all you want to do is swallow really hard.
Awesome view. Think happy thought. Think happy thoughts
Dr Chin has really good bedside manner and explains everything he does before doing it so you don't think that you're the guinea pig of some mad scientist's experiment. Thankfully he doesn't keep talking and asking random questions that you feel obliged to answer while his fist is jammed in your mouth. I had a dentist who did that and all my answers were like 'mrrrrffhhhhmmmmrrrhhhhh'. Like seriously dude. Bonus: Dr. Chin is handsome!
6-eyed alien but still HAMSUM!
They believe in technology. They've got screens in each of the rooms which unfortunately is not for TV watching but rather for you to stare at the X-rays of your mouth so you can remark on how many fillings you had. Deep candy-induced shame spiral happens here but come on, it's the future yo.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!
It only takes about 30 minutes and I'm done with the dental scaling, I have a nice clean mouth and I'm still alive thankgodI'mstillalivehallelujah!!!
Always a good time for a selfie.
Anyway, if you're looking for a nice place to get your mouth cleaned, I highly recommend T32!
